📱 Devices Overview
Every repair in RepairMinder is tracked at the device level. From the moment a device arrives to when it's returned to the customer, you have complete visibility into its status, history, and condition.
What is a Device?
A device is a single item being repaired within an order. An order can have multiple devices, and each device is tracked independently.
Examples:
- iPhone 15 Pro Max with cracked screen
- MacBook Air with battery issue
- Samsung Galaxy Tab with charging port damage
- PlayStation 5 not powering on
Device Lifecycle
Added → Checked In → Diagnosis → Repair → Quality Check → Ready
Device Statuses

| Added | Device recorded but not yet received |
| Checked In | Device physically received at location |
| Diagnosis | Technician assessing the issue |
| In Repair | Active repair work in progress |
| Quality Check | Repair complete, verification in progress |
| Ready | Ready for customer collection |
